First Christmas

Merry Christmas to all! Have you heard mass already? Have you opened your gifts? Have you greeted all your family and friends? Well, me, I've opened my gifts last night after Noche Buena, greeted all my family and friends here and abroad. Replied to their text messages. But I'll be hearing mass tonight at 8pm because Msgr. Romy RaƱada will officiate the mass.

Even before Christmas Eve, I'm already excited for this day to come because this will be the first time in 4 years that Adrian and I will be celebrating Christmas together. He used to spend it in Nasugbu while I spend it here at home in Fairview. And so Christmas Eve is here and he arrived with his backpack. We went to SM for some last minute shopping and went to the supermarket to buy some ingredients for the Noche Buena.

When we go home, my brother Dave was already watching the DVD series of Samurai X, which Adrian brought. After helping out with the preparation for Noche Buena, we headed to the tube and joined my brother in Samurai X marathon. I'm not really a fan of this anime, but after watching 1 disc (has 8 episodes in it) I started to kinda like the series...Kenshin becomes more attractive even with the X mark on his face...kinda like Harry Potter's lightning scar. Anyway, We took a little nap before the strike of midnight.

Merry Christmas Be, were the words that woke me up.. a merry Christmas kiss and we're on our feet to go down stairs to greet my parents. We had Noche Buena minus the white wine that Poly gave because we didn't have a cork opener (what a bummer!) so we just settled with Pepsi on our wine glasses. But never the less the food was great! We had grilled tuna, garlic shellfish with cheese, glazed ham, spaghetti, leche flan, fruit and potato salad and tuna macaroni. The sound of Fritz's Christmas song compilations surround the house while we ate. After eating, we went to the tree and opened our gifts. Adrian and I danced to the Christmas songs currently being played (still Fritz's CD), practicing our Money Dance for our Wedding Reception.

Ahh.. what a day! Such a wonderful Christmas.
