Another question often ask is this: What if a person has already done everything within his power to change but the mediocre environment remains? Indeed, one can imagine a place that us dominated by miserable, mediocre, helpless individuals who refuse to change. Does a winner quit in such a situation?.
First of all, a truly excellent employee will seldom find himself in such a situation because her tends to attract more lucrative opportunities. His winning attitude makes him attractive to other companies or prepares him for better opportunities. In other words, if he us truly excellent, he will either be taken out of that situation or he will leave to improve his life. He is not afraid to do this because he knows he is marketable; he normally does not lack options. What happens now to the organization that he left? Well, it might be in danger of being manned by "leftovers", victims and reactionaries who perpetuate the culture of mediocrity. Meanwhile, the winner continues to blaze new trails, to move on to better things
I'm a winner and so I decide to leave to improve my life and move on to better things.
