- 1. Remember that nothing is more important than your own sense of happiness and inner peace and that of your loved ones.
2. Compassion is something you develop with practice. It involves two things: intention and action.
3. You may indeed be a very busy person, but remember that filling your head with thoughts of how overwhelmed you are only exacerbates the problem by making you feel even more stressed than you already do.
4. Don't overschedule. Allow for some downtime.
5. Gently remind yourself that life is okay the way it is, right now.
6. So many people spend so much of their life energy "sweating the small stuff" that they completely lose touch with the magic and beauty of life.
7. Reminding yourself of what's really important helps to keep your priorities straight.
8. Give up on the idea that more is better.
9. An apology is an excellent opportunity to deepen your love and your partnership.
10. The starting point of a life filled with love is the desire and commitment to be a source of love.
