Where is Tagaytay?

I wrote this entry for my friend Echa, who asked where Tagaytay is. Well, Tagaytay is 50 Km south of Philippines' capital, Manila. People in the metropolis, ususally go on a road trip with their families and friends to Tagaytay to escape hussle and bussle of the city. And retreat from the heat and pollution that can drive you crazy. Due to the surrounding mountains of this city, the climate is cool and the air is fresh. A perfect way to relax and enjoy nature This is also the home of the smallest volcano in the world, Taal Volcano. It is also a fact that the volcano itself has a lake of its own inside its crater which is called the "Crater Lake." Many restaurants in the area offers good food and a good view of the volcano too. Picnic sites and horseback riding are also available to the public.Tagaytay is the nearest escape of ManileƱos to tranquility.
