Book Review: Tales from the Crib

Tales from the Crib, by: Risa Green.

I bought this book when I was 7 months pregnant but I was only able to read it this week because of this overwhelming new role that I am in. And since we don't have internet yet.. this is my solitude...reading. Anyway, I'm only halfway through the book but I'm already writing a review because I'm so entertained by it since I can relate to the heroine's situation.

The lead character Lara, also just gave birth to her first daughter Parker and the story revolves around how she is coping up as a new mom (stress level to the max!) ~ breastfeeding, the sleepless nights, the weight loss challenge, etc... ~ and her insecurities as a wife, a mother, a daughter etc. Her adventures are a page turner and so funny. New moms who are chick lit fanatics will most likely be entertained with this book than those single fans out there since they are the ones who can mostly relate to the character's situation (just like me!).

I'm giving this novel 4 stars for now... I'll see if I'll change my rating when I get to the epilogue. Tatah!
