Yesterday was my hubby's 30th birthday. We had spagetti and mango cake at home to celebrate this milestone in his life. Since I don't have salary for 2 months (I'm on maternity leave remember?), I didn't get him any expensive gift so I just bought a cute picture frame (which can hold 2 photos) and placed Andre's pictures in it and wrapped it. Its not the most expensive gift but its the most precious gift I can ever give him... Now, the picture frame is sitting on his office desk.
But eventhough its Adrian's birthday, I was not 100% happy. This is because, last Monday, we learned that our baby's newborn screening result shows that he is positive with G6PD and the result on his Galactosemia test are inconclusive. Thus, yesterday morning we went to the National Institutes of Health so that Andre can give another blood sample for them to confirm if he indeed have the above diseases. Unfortunately, the results will only be available on the 19th. All I can do now is pray that the result will all be negative.
Please help me pray for our beloved little boy.
