mall rat no more...

Today, I have a realization... I'm no longer a mall rat. Maybe I've out grown it since our office for 3 years is located inside a mall... or maybe because I already have other priorities in life other than hanging out in the mall. I say this because today, was my first time to visit the 3rd largest mall in the world.. The Mall of Asia. And OMG! I'm overwhelmed with how big it is. We went there to meet up with Tita Nida, Ninong Cres and Chichi (and other relatives) who were leaving for L.A. tonight. My hubby and I planned to do some grocery shopping as well while we were there and include some sight seeing. Since we were meeting our relatives at the SM Department Store, we parked our car at the south parking area so we won't need to walk too far. But when we learned that the Hypermart was at the other side of the mall (North Building) we decided to pass on our plans. The thought of walking from the south to north building and back to the south parking area (with grocery bags at hand) was so tiring already. We actually didn't leave the south building at all and just passed the time chatting over coffee and Wendy's burgers 'n fries outside Gloria Jeans which is right beside the department store.
If it was an amusement park.. I might have faced the challenge to go around... but it wasn't, so never mind... and the shops I'd be seeing there also have branches at smaller and manageable malls. I won't be going to the Mall of Asia again for shopping purposes... I'll only go there for an IMAX movie experience. Nothing else.

Since I'm no longer a mall rat... I might as well be called a mouse potato nowadays. haha!
