You..complete me

I'll be back to work in ten days and I am spending as much time as I can with AJ. When I say spending, its not just during his playtime or bathtime but even when he takes a nap, i hold him as long as my arms can bear his weight. For hours and hours I can stare at his face and smell his milky breath and it brings completeness in me.

Early this afternoon while I was in the process of burping AJ, he fell asleep on my shoulder. His face was facing me and I can smell his sweet milky breath (actually his whole body smells like milk, hehe!). With his eyes close and face so calm, I saw a hint of smile in his lips.. then an all gums smile (so cute!). I giggled at the sight of this. And then he giggled back... I started laughing when he did this. And after a few seconds he laughed again. By this time I was laughing hysterically (with tears all over my face). And while I'm like a crazy person laughing all by myself, AJ is sleeping soundly on my chest. It was the best laugh I had in years. My day is already complete.
I remember that line from the movie Jerry Maguire where he said to Dorothy,

"You... complete me."

Yup, a woman completes a man but for me a child completes a woman. I can now answer with full knowledge that Ms. Universe question, What is the essence of a woman? Haha!
