Well
first of all Happy New Year to anyone who's reading this. I have
already posted the same greeting on my FB and twitter accounts and so I
thought multiply and blogspot deserves the same as well. I know I have
neglected writing for months now... I have not written as frequent as I
did back in 2004. I can't say maybe.. but i'm sure its because of now
being a mother and a wife, I have different priorities and no longer
finds some me time. The quickest way to do so is via fb & twitter
where I can post a one liner (160 characters) and I'm done for the day.
So this 2010, I hope I can have that 'me' time in cyberspace again. My husband is on his way to Iba, Zambales to attend a maternal relative wake while my little rascal is sleeping like an angel.. so I have to kill an idle time. And so now I'm here.
Spent the new year in Batangas (as we usually do) but before going there, we watched Disney on Ice in Araneta.. my son AJ was in awe for the first half of the show.. claps together with the rest of the audience ..but just before the intermission he's already starting to get grumpy and can no longer stay in his sit. first he wants to go to the restroom, then wants to go to the car. The show finally ended and in no time, he is already sleeping before we reached the express way. So lesson learned.. shows like this should be booked after nap time :)
New Year was simple but fun. I made buko pandan salad (topped with cashew nuts) and Sardines Pasta (not the spicy one.. can't find the right spanish sardines in the supermarket-out of stock!) while my sister-in-law Gina made barbecues. We waited for the clock to strike 12:00mn and started jumping, lighted our roman candles and fountain. Neighbors showcased their fireworks and AJ enjoyed watching the sky filled with colorful stars ...but I corrected him that those are fireworks.. when he woke up the next day, he was looking for more .... 'mommy fireworks, wala fireworks?' So I guess next year we'll be looking forward for more fireworks. haha!
And so what's in store for us in 2010? If you have been here before, you'll know that I'm interested in horoscopes...so as I write this paragraph, i'm googling on the other tab on Capricorn's future. And so this is what they say..
1. There would be some heavy or useless expenditure during the beginning of the year. But, later things would be under control. Overall, this year is going to be an encouraging year. Due to influence of transiting planets, you would be obtaining success in all major or important projects. - OH NO!! expenses agad!? but at least it will be under control later..Wow! success in all major/important projects - now I have to be choosy when it comes to projects, dapat puro major & important lang ang i-aaccept ko :)
2.there are finest chances of entering into new and profitable deals. You might get new clients which will enhance your good luck or prosperity. At the same time, you will fully capable to provide best services for your old clients. Thus, you might maintain both clients properly. - Now this is the good news I'm looking for :)
3.Possibilities of being promoted would be high. You may get foreign assignments. - Seriously? hindi nga?!
4. Those are married, will also enjoy their married life. However, they have minor disputes or misunderstandings with their life partners. Both of you should try to control your aggressiveness. Due to it, you may have very harmonious relationship with your spouse. - Naku nagsimula na ata ito.. January 1 pa lang.. :(
5.Those are interested in long distance traveling; this is a golden year for those. - humm.. makes me think. for pleasure or for long term?
6.Health wise it is not a good year. You might suffer due to chronic as well as fever or other such kinds of diseases. You should take diet properly and do not avoid any minor health problems. You should visit to doctors other wise it may affect to your professional life too. - oh no! I'm taking this health thing seriously.. promise.
Over all looks like a very good and challenging 2010 for me.. how about you?
