5 days away from the election and I am so excited to exercise my right to vote. I'm 30ish already but this coming Monday will be my first time to VOTE. When I was asked years back why haven't I registered to vote, my answer was always, ' those candidates are not worthy of my vote' ...until now. But I won't be campaigning for my candidates nor will I post all their
credentials here in this blog because I believe that whoever you will vote on May 10 should be your choice and not because everybody is voting for them or so the survey says.
In the news nowadays, there are machine malfunctions, thus, accuracy of vote counts are being questioned. And there are assumptions that if these errors continues until the day of election, a declaration of failed election is in inevitable. This is our first step to modernizing our elections and I just hope and pray no one will sabotage this election. And more importantly for me, it's my first time to vote and I expect my vote to be counted.
I have my top two candidates but until this day I have not yet decided which one would get my precious vote. But the thing that I am sure of is where I'm placing my vote. How about you? Do you know your Polling Place and Precinct? If not, you may go to COMELEC's site so you can check where you should be heading to on Monday.
