Celebrating the Old & New

I knew she was deteriorating. Slowly giving up on me. I don't blame her. She has been serving me and keeping my feet safe and dirt free for 6 years. But I didn't expect it to be this soon. As in today! You totally gave up on me. But I understand and I want you to know that I don't have any ill feelings towards you leaving me this way..with no choice but to replace you ASAP.

We met at the Women's Nike store, circa 2004, February. That was in time for the opening of Gold's gym in Galleria. My friends and I signed up for membership and are all excited to try out all sorts of classes and sweating it out on the machines with our workout program especially customized for us by a trainer.


She witnessed my weight loss in time for my wedding and the weight gain after my pregnancy. She witnessed the stressful wedding preparation.Though she missed my wedding..its okay for she joined me when I visited Bangkok for the first time.Walked the streets of Singapore during my honeymoon with her.I was with her when The Red Rabbits won the Sports fest in 2008. Which cost me my voice for cheering and shouting words of encouragement for the team. She was there when I first saw Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Hong Kong. Yes, she did travel a lot! Good thing  she can fit in my luggage or else it would cost me so much to tag her along. She had ran after AJ with me. She even let AJ tie her lace...

In other words, she has been a part of my colorful 6 years of existence...and this blog is for her as I let her go to rest...forever. Thank you. And may someone else find you and use you to the fullest of your potential. Good Bye Nike.


Hello Fila. I bought you today because I had no choice. and you are on sale. 50% OFF how could I resist that!? And so I wish for our relationship to last a long time.. wouldn't hurt if you stay with me for 6 years too. And I'm looking forward to travel with you, create milestones with you and witnessed my growth as a person, as a mother, a wife and a woman.
