| get vaccinated just like nica and me. |
My colleague, Nica told me that she had been dreadfully anticipating this day and could not concentrate on work because she kept on thinking about the vaccination. She's afraid of this stuff...So we went together to the clinic, told her that I'll hold her hand if she needs one. But I actually didn't need to do anything for she was so brave and didn't even felt a thing (deep inhalation and exhalation works wonders when the needle enters your arm). She even asked "Tapos na?" ("its done?").
But I of course knew how it will feel like. The sting and the after effects. But its okay. I can live with that. Besides, once you have already experience vaginal child birth, any pain presented to you is bearable. Its like a walk in the park. Hehe! But kidding aside, I'm glad to be born in this day and age where vaccines are available for such diseases. The 2-3 days of pain due to side effects are welcome anytime than the pain you have to endure if you have it. Not only the physical pain but the pain you will inflict unto your family and loved ones. Not to mention how costly it will be.
Our 1st dose is done.. 2 more to go.
