I've never missed blogging this much.. Well maybe there was, this one time when I over-used my internet allotted access hours, thus my connection got suspended. But last Sunday was different, because my PC's bios crashed on me and needed to be updated. I'm no computer wiz so I asked the help from Adrian. But I can’ wait to get home to do this post. So I'm staying a little late in the office just to rush this one. This is every bloggers' nightmare, a crashed PC!
Ahh, one good news is that our VP already left for MY already and I was able to open my blog in between clients’ phone calls and email inquiries. As I goggled the web, I came across a site called Waypath. The site is a Blog Discovery Engine that lets you find new blogs you want to read. I like their slogan: what bloggers are saying ... about everything. And was surprise to see that my blog about Jen and Brad’s breakup was published on the Entertainment section. Kinda felt flatter actually that someone noticed and minded to include my post in the selection.
As I continue to browse, I ended up in a site called, The Weblog Review, where you submit your blog site and the site’s staff review your blog based on appearance, content, over-all impression etc. It’s a very unique site that actually help us bloggers to know what others think of our site (without any biases). And of course, I’ve registered my blogsite for review as well. Though I’m waiting for a slot to be opened so I can submit my request for review.
Another good news from my RX93.1 mailing list, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (the movie) is due for release on November 18,2005. And I've already plotted it in my planner. Now, I need to rush myself in finishing what I'm reading so I can finish reading HP and the Order of Phoenix. I actually stopped reading at chapter 12, because I read in an article in BBC online that Sirius Black died in the end. Argh! Talking about anti-climactic experience.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to blogging for the rest of the week. I just hope I get to salvage my PC at home.
