Adrian and I were invited to the renewal of vows of Uncle Rene and his wife Lorraine at San Augstin Church. I went to Adrian’s pad and headed to the salon, which is right across Adrian’s street for my trial hair and make-up. Our ride already arrived while I was still in the salon so Adrian went to get me and helped me dressed up. I think it just took me, less than a minute to dress up and put my accessories. Of course I don’t want to be the reason why the Best Man is late.
We arrived at the church, 2:45 p.m. the wedding was at 3pm. (Thank God there’s no traffic!) So I made my way to the church together with Adrian, Dandin, Gina, Abby and Lolo Pako. Meet the Groom, Uncle Ating and some relatives from his mother side. Met Adrian’s Ninang Aida, who will also be our godmother in our wedding.

After the ceremony, we went straight to Heritage Hotel for the reception. Food was ok.. nothing really great but even tough I didn’t ate any rice, just a French bread and a salad and 4 kinds of main course, I felt stuffed and needed to stand up and walk for a while so my stomach can relax a little bit. Come to think of it, probably it was the dessert who’s responsible my full stomach.
The reception program ended with a money dance. After a while, Adrian noticed that no one was attempting to go and pin some cash on the couple. So as a responsible Best Man that he is, Adrian ask me if we can start it off. So I took out a 500-peso bill and I pinned it to the Groom’s barong and Adrian to the Bride…and of course as a tradition, I danced with the groom on the center of the ballroom. And that started the couples money dance, some pinned a thousand bill, 500s, we even saw someone gave an envelope. Hehehe, we’ll definitely have a money dance in our wedding, right Be?
