I can tell you about our food trip yesterday but I’m more excited to tell you about the good news that I received today. Nope, sorry it’s not the anticipated call from Mr. AVP nevertheless the news elated my spirit and shifted my emotions from the early morning depression. My client, a universal bank here in PH signed up for a 1-year package. And that’s not all, full payment is already ready for pick-up. So now, I need not worry on where to get my pocket money for our Bangkok Trip next month. And that’s another wonderful news.
It’s confirmed! My passport is ready, my luggage is already out from the cupboard and is sitting right next to my vanity dresser. Coz we are going to Bangkok, Thailand next month (Feb 24-27). Since we exceeded our target for the year 2004, all employees in our company (with at least 1 year tenure) are eligible to the all expense paid trip to Bangkok. Good thing that Luz was able to convince our GM to get the 4 days 3 nights package rather than the 3 days 2 nights. I think we’ll be staying at Montien Bangkok (Hey, Erwin, is this hotel any good?). Anyway, we all hope that this will be better than our HK trip last year.
The A-holics are off again to another Asean neighbor to experience their culture, authentic Thai food, beautiful sights and the best of all their weekend market (Chatuchak!!!). Another Shopaholic adventure for Kim, Baet, Maya, Winnie, Kimchi, Fritz and Me. YEHEY!!!

Anyway, backtrack to yesterday, we craved for some sweet, delicious and hundred calories rich cinnamon. So during the afternoon break, we went to Cinnabon and bought 1 big mouth watering, eye tempting, oh so yummy Pecanbon. And Maya treated us with some cinnamon sticks. After finishing the mouthful of Pecanbon, and Baet ordered some cream cheese as dips, we fumble through the bag of cinnamon sticks. Those mmmmmssss… and aaahhhhs… are enough to describe how we feel. We want some more! Our 2nd bag of cinnamon sticks was courtesy of Kim. And that was our food trip… sa uulitin! Now we need to go to Gold’s Gym to shed those calories.
BTW, Terranova is on SALE again! Everything 199 to 599! And with those big words, hanging on the display window, a true shopaholic can never pass this chance. This is like a heaven on earth. As we leave the store, I was holding a bag with a gray slacks and a blue and white croquet halter top (which matches my blue swimsuit).
There goes my VISA (again!)
