not so psyched up for work

Less than a week and counting...

Storm storm go away... come again another day.

Someone asked me which I liked better... sunny or rainy days? I like the latter.. the sound of the rain on the roof (i can hear APO hiking society's ..."pumapatak nanaman ang ulan sa bubung ng bahay") the cool breeze of the wind, the steaming coffee at hand while sitting crossed leg staring out the window, cuddling in bed with someone dear or eating arrozcaldo. These are the things I like about rainy days. But no way to storms! I hate the fact that your day at the office hasn't started yet but your already drenched. And worst, if you have to meet a client and no time to get dried up. I hope this storm goes away soon and not ruin my first day high at the office.

Speaking of office, now that the day is getting near... I don't feel like going back but I have too. I guess the 2 months vacation has slowed my momentum in waking up early and facing stress with a big smile on the face. Though I miss the people at work, the work itself is no longer as exciting as it used to be. Especially now that I heard there are some changes in our department, new policies, etc. How I wish I can be a stay home mom and just be with AJ all day and Surf the net, update my blog, answer emails, update my friendster, chat with family and friends. I think I've become a lazy mouse potato mom. I need something to energize me, to get me moving, keep me on my toes and prepped me for work... I need to go shopping!

But mind you, shopping for my (post preggy) size is an ordeal. My hubby and I went to buy some pants at (SM) Surplus and I went to the fitting room 3 times before I got the pants that fits my thighs. Don't dare ask my size.. lets just say, the tag carries 2 digits already and I used to be a size 8. I wanted to buy 6 pants but only 3 of them still has my size. Oh well .. I guess I have to deal with this at the moment until I get to be sexy again.. hehehe! I'll settle for cute, right misty?
