Sydney Scrap Book: Day Four

23 October 2012

Started late today. I met my hubby's cousin, Ate Elsa for Lunch at Darling Harbour area. It's called the Slip Inn, they say this is where 2 royals met :) who? Can't remember need to google it. It's my first time to meet ate Elsa and it was nice of her to offer to take me to the Olympic Park on Friday... Yey! Excited for that. The ambiance of the resto was relaxed and festive. You can choose to be seated indoors if you want steaks or be seated outside for Aussie and Thai cuisines. No walkins here if you are a large group, reservation is a must on Friday night.
I'm ready for my walking tour

After lunch, I headed to the Sydney Wild Life to check out Koalas and Kangaroos and Sydney Aquarium. And honestly, I like our Ocean Park better. Walked through the Harbourside Shopping Center and through the Pyrmont Bridge and headed down to the National Maritime Museum...

The boat, then
the boat , now
If there are boats, there are lighthouses
After taking some pictures of the boats, boats and more boats plus the lighthouse, I was spent and ready to go... So finding my way to the train station was not easy since I got there by bus. Checked the map but I still got lost. Reading signs along the way on Pirrama St...I headed inside a parking lot to cross the other side going to Sydney Convention Center, and since Hubby has showed me this way last Sunday, I was able to get on the Lightrail Train and head to Central. Went straight to the bus stop where I waited for Hubby and Erick.

Once in Coogee we went straight to Woolies to stock up on food supplies. Saw huge veggies and fresh flowers... The colors overwhelms my eyes. Then had dinner at Tropicana again... I think this is our favorite resto at Coogee Bay Road - nice food,.good looking waitresses and free WiFi :) Plus, on Tuesday, all pasta is only $10AUD :D
