Meet Wanda: an HTC One X story

My hubby is not your typical man. He is not romantic. Gave me flowers (may favorite -Tulips) - only once in our 12 years of being together (but I'm not complaining I'm just stating a fact here-- I'm a Capricorn so I am practical). He doesn't bring me to candlelit dinners, or surprises me with gifts. He asks what I want for Christmas and birthdays because he doesn't want to go through the thinking process of what to give me or if I will like it or not. But its okay. I still love him anyway, regardless. He is also not the type of person who buys grandeous gift. (the most expensive i've received so far i guess is my engagement ring) - but who is counting? Again, just stating a fact here. But not on this one occasion...

When we celebrated our wedding anniversary last Sept 3 (7 years wootwoo!), I already knew that he is buying me my most coveted smartphone... HTC One X. Because I told him that this is what I want... though it was delayed for a few weeks... I got it last Sept 14. While i was waiting for the hours to pass by, I've been contemplating what to name my new Gadget. (I always name my gadgets like boys name their cars) Cassie for my mini notebook, Buffy for my mobile HD, Desiree for my old smartphone HTC Desire S... and as corny as it sounds... I got her name from "Want the OneX" and Wan (which sounds like One) -- thus she was baptized as Wanda!!  And when I saw her, it was love at first sight...It was like Jacob imprinting Renesmee from Twilight... I didn't waste any more time and we headed to buy an Otter Box casing for it before I even tried playing with her.

And so the next day, after the rain stopped pouring.. i headed to my mom's garden and took some shots... and they were amazing!!! i love the sharpness, the dept of focus, its like an SLR on my phone.

And to add to the excitement, HTC Philippines has featured my photo in their FB Fan Page :)
